Spiritual Guidance for Living

What is Spirituality? For some it is about religion, for others it is about a connection to the Divine and still for others it is about experiencing life’s journey as a sacred practice. Each person brings their own dynamic perspective to how spirituality is working (or perhaps not working) in their life. It can help with discerning difficult choices in life, create meaning in personal connections and much more.

“Spiritual Guidance is about the person’s connection to wholeness,” says Barbara Pfingst, founder of Inner Wisdom Space, “but it also is how the individual wishes to express his or her soul’s nature and that is what we explore in depth together.” Guidance sessions can take on many forms, such as dream work, ritual building, creative expression, movement such as dance or nature walks, meditation or journaling. There is no right or wrong way to find spiritual attunement. “Comfort level and confidentiality are always taken into account,” assures Pfingst.

Pfingst is completing her Masters of Spiritual Guidance at Sofia University (formerly The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and is nationally certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. She is a level II Reiki practitioner and an energy healer. She resides in Rockland County. She is available for individual and group sessions both in person and on Skype.
