Sanctuary Yoga will be offering Open Forum dates on May 8th and June 8th where students of yoga can spend some time with the Yoga Mountain teaching staff, take classes with them and discuss ideas and concerns, and review concrete information on the program dates, prices and payment options.
“If you want to share your love of yoga with others and have at least one year of experience practicing yoga, this certification may be for you,” says Nancy Mahon, owner of Sanctuary Yoga Studios. “Just like a yoga class, the certification course will ground you, allow you to feel your strength, and give you what you need for creative freedom as a teacher.”
When Mahon decided to explore teacher training programs for her studio there was one stand out choice—Yoga Mountain. Mahon explains, “Students take certification very seriously; they want to learn anatomy and alignment. They want to learn philosophy but they also want to find their own teacher’s voice. I have witnessed Yoga Mountain develop great teachers with this creative freedom, all the while giving them the nuts and bolts to safely and effectively teach.”
The class on Wednesday, May 8th is being held at 7:30 p.m. Registrants can join the 6 p.m. class gratis. The class on Saturday, June 8 is being held at 12:30 p.m. Registrants can join the 11 a.m. class gratis.
