Reiki for Babies, Toddlers and Teens by Chrissy Pascale

Reiki, a Japanese holistic healing art using energy, is becoming more and more popular these days. People are finding that it helps create healing and stress reduction in a safe and non-invasive way. But many people don’t realize that Reiki works beautifully on babies, toddlers and teenagers.

Reiki can send calming and soothing energies to babies to help them calm down or fall asleep. When babies are suffering from colic or teething, parents may find it stressful getting their children to sleep. Often all that is needed to quiet their children down is sending Reiki for a short time. It also gives them a much more restful sleep and they tend to wake up much happier in the morning.

Reiki also provides soothing energies to toddlers. During this period of meltdowns and tantrums, Reiki sends the same calming effects to quiet them down. Along with stress reduction, Reiki provides enhanced healing to those ‘boo boos’ that all children get. It also can help with fine and gross motor controls that toddlers are starting to fine tune by this time.

With the rigorous schedules that teenagers now face with school, after school activities, homework and social activities, Reiki helps reduce the stress of these everyday activities and gives them energy. It facilitates focus and clear thinking which benefits teenagers in all areas of their lives.

It takes just a short time to give Reiki and it can be done in a practitioner’s office or right in the home. Providing Reiki on a daily basis would be optimal for children. Consider becoming a Reiki practitioner for your child. Anyone can learn Reiki and it does not require too much time from your schedule. There are many qualified Reiki teachers in the area that would love to teach you.
