Online Six Month Group Cooking Class

“I know, you really want to make healthier changes this year but can’t seem to make time to get to that cooking class,” says Donna Douglass from What’s Cooking. That’s why on Tuesday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m., Douglass will launch an online cooking class called “Cooking for Health.”

“Here’s your chance to get some support and motivation under a trained chef and health coach to help you get inspired and build a repertoire of new recipes,” says Douglass. The class, which meets once a month for six months, will feature 30 minutes of instruction followed by a 20 minute question and answer session.

Class attendees will learn how to prepare colorful, satisfying and delicious meals and how to cook and eat nutritiously. “We’ll take a look at your recipes and talk about how you can make healthier changes or accommodate a special dietary need,” explains Douglass. “You’ll learn to manage your time better in the kitchen and discover ways to give your meals more flavor.”

Each class features handouts and recipes. A Facebook group will be created where attendees can post questions and interact with others in the group. “Get the support and motivation you need this year for a healthier and happier you,” adds Douglass.
