Feed your body and soul every Thursday at the Nyack Farmers’ Market. Now in its indoor winter home at Nyack Center, the Market has locally grown and produced foods to fill your kitchen. Visitors to the Market will discover an abundance of fresh produce, breads, pies, cookies, cheese, humanelyraised meets, eggs, honey and maple syrup, organic teas, small-batch coffee, pasta, soups, quiches and pot pies, and much more.
The Market also features weekly workshops to feed the inner artist. Workshops include art, sponsored by Vincent’s Ear art supplies, dance and percussion from Walk to the Beat and early childhood music from Jeffrey Friedberg. Plus, each week visitors will hear live music onstage during the Market, performed by local musicians.
Run by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, the Nyack Farmers’ Market is open every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. year-round. During the winter months the Market is found indoors at Nyack Center located at 58 Depew, at the corner of South Broadway. On April 3, the Market returns to its outdoor home in the Main Street parking lot. Coming in June 2014, the Nyack Farmers’ Market will be adding a Saturday Market as well.
Now in its sixteenth year, the Nyack Farmers’ Market is one of the oldest markets in the tri-state area and it continues to get bigger and better every year.
Location: Nyack Center, 58 Depew Ave., Nyack. For more information and to sign up for the weekly Market newsletter, visit NyackChamber.org.
