Nutritional Therapy Practice Opens in Stony Point

Kim Jordan is excited to announce the establishment of her practice, Root and Branch Nutrition, in Stony Point. As the first Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in Rockland, she is trained in a foundational approach to nutrition and wellness.

According to Jordan, nutritional therapy views the body holistically as one complex, interconnected system. “This system is rooted in specific biochemical foundations, that when supported, create balance in the body. However, when any of these foundations are weakened, dysfunction occurs and symptoms arise,” she explains. “Nutritional therapy works to find underlying causes and support the body by building strength in these foundations to build health from the roots up.”

Through in-depth analysis, including the use of unique tools like physical functional evaluation, and Lingual-Neuro Testing, Jordan uncovers hidden weaknesses and deficiencies within the body. With a functional and integrative perspective, she works to rebalance and strengthen the biochemical systems that create health with a multifaceted approach that includes nutrition, herbal and food-based supplements, stressmanagement and mindset. She addresses the bio-individuality of each client, personalizing the plan for each person.

Focusing primarily on digestive issues, stress and fatigue, and women’s health including hormones, thyroid disorders and preconception, Jordan’s goal is to help women feel, look and be their strongest, most vibrant selves. She works with clients one-on-one and teaches her four-week nutrition course, Eating to Thrive. She also is available for local speaking engagements as well as online consulting with distance clients.
